Despite COVID Safety Measures, Missouri Medical Marijuana Patients Have Plenty of Ways to Celebrate
We’ve all heard the saying, “Everyone is Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day!” and at Missouri Marijuana Card, we couldn’t agree more! Many of us may still be distancing to keep ourselves and the people around us safe from COVID, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find great ways to celebrate.
With so many new ways to go green, St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t just mean wearing colors that don’t match your complexion and drinking beer with added food coloring anymore. Now, the green in our lives is so much more than that!
Medical marijuana is legal in Missouri, and you can now enjoy the luck o’ the Irish with some green of your own. Cannabis buds may not have four leaves like a clover, but feeling your best is certainly something to celebrate!
We are celebrating by offering NEW PATIENTS $30 off of your Missouri medical marijuana evaluation, for St. Paddy’s Day only. Visit our site on March 17th, 2021, enter LUCKY30 when you make your appointment, and save some green getting authorized to get your green.
While many of the traditional festivities are either cancelled or more low-key for 2021, this year may provide an opportunity to do something new. Try something you’ve been wanting to do, or go for an activity that’s completely out of the ordinary. You may just find yourself a new tradition you want to keep for years to come.
Here are our top ten suggestions for ways to find the pot of gold (pun intended) at the end of the rainbow this year and every year on March 17th or whatever day you celebrate.
1. Get Your Missouri Marijuana Card
Of course this is going to be our first suggestion. If you don’t yet have one, what are you waiting for? Getting a Missouri marijuana card is easier than ever with us! The list of qualifying conditions is long, our doctors are understanding, and we are here for you every step of the way!
When you call us at 877-303-3127 or schedule a same-day HIPPA-certified telehealth appointment with one of our doctors, you immediately have someone by your side who can help you navigate your way to legal access.
We take the time to answer all your questions, help you understand the process and available products, and offer as many follow-ups as you may need in a year. We can even help you get your medical records if you are having trouble.
We aren’t saying we deserve sainthood, but we can certainly give you a reason to celebrate.
2. Visit a Missouri Medical Marijuana Dispensary!
Once you have your Missouri marijuana card, you can freely visit any Missouri dispensary you want! Dispensaries are opening at lightning speed now, and different items are coming available all the time!
Flora Farms, COCO, and Missouri Health and Wellness have several locations across the state, and the murals on the walls at Greenlight Dispensaries may well be worth a road trip to see them all. If you live near Ozark, check out Old Route 66, which will be open from 10 AM - 8 PM on March 17th.
Smaller, more independent dispensaries like The Valley in Farmington and the Cassville Dispensary in Cassville aim to provide a hometown feeling as they serve their local communities with the kind of natural relief that brings people together. They are ready to answer your questions and give you the support you need in order to make better decisions for your health.
Get some fresh green buds, pre-rolls, edibles or even replace your boring green beer with fresh Orange Kush Kola from Keef.
3. Feel Your Best and Savor a Morning … or Afternoon … or Evening Toke
Are we going to talk about anything other than medical marijuana in this article? Yes! But we are just so excited about the opportunity to celebrate our favorite kind of green that it’s definitely going to be what we focus on most.
If you are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day over the weekend or you have the day off, why not spend the day savoring how good it is to feel your best? Start your day off with a Wana gummy or a Pineapple Kush pre-roll, and enjoy being able to move pain-free.
Enjoy a refreshing infused cola with your lunch, and settle in for the night with your favorite Indica. Sounds like the perfect day, does it not?
4. Check out the Online Events Happening Everywhere
The annual parades and snake-outs may be in a different form this year, but that just means more people get to enjoy it! Like most parades over the last year, the St. Louis Irish Parade has gone virtual for 2021. It took place on Saturday, March 13th, and you can probably find recordings on the parade online to enjoy from the comfort of your own home!
5. Join a Run
Medical marijuana might have you feeling so great that you’re ready to run a marathon! However, you probably want to start with something a little shorter just to get warmed up.
Most of the organized runs specifically for St. Patrick’s Day already took place over the weekend before, but now may be a great time to get yourself in shape for the coming season in the sun! There are running clubs all over the Show-Me State, and you can even start your own with a few friends.
6. Time for a Shamrock Shake!
What better way to reward yourself for a jog well done than by downing one of these seasonal treats? This limited-time McDonald’s novelty shows up annually, and it had garnered an enthusiastic following since its beginnings in 1970. What flavor is it? No one really knows. But who ever said delicious needed to be named anyway?
7. Get Your Plants Ready for Spring
Your houseplants are certainly ready to get a little fresh air, and it’s time to start thinking about sprouting seedlings if you haven’t already prepared them. If you’ve got your marijuana card with a grow license, take some time to tend to your cannabis today. Play some Irish music for your plants, and do a little jig in your garden.
8. Do Something Good for the Environment
Growing cannabis outdoors is certainly a plus for the planet. Not only do they clean the air, but growing your own cuts down on processing and packaging needed when you buy products at the dispensary.
But you can also celebrate St. Paddy’s Day by doing even more to go green for 2021. Start recycling, cut back on the packaging you use and buy, consider solar panels or buying an electric car if you’re in the market, or find other ways to reduce your carbon footprint.
9. Go Hunting for 4-Leaf Clovers
According to an article in Smithsonian Magazine, you should be able to find a 4-leaf clover in every 1.2 meter patch of clover grass. The article offers some strategies for finding one of your own, and it’s way easier than capturing a Leprechaun.
10. Okay … Go Ahead and Drink That Green Beer
Look. We get it. Sometimes you just want to feel like things are normal again. Maybe you need those traditions in your life to truly feel Irish. And since it’s probably not a good idea to go around collecting kisses this year, green beer is all you’ve got. So, bottom’s up, and happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at Missouri Marijuana Card.
