Following the approval of the first Missouri cultivation facility, BeLeaf Medical, a second cultivator has passed their inspection by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
Archimedes is the first outdoor grow facility to be approved to begin operations in Perryville. It is a female-owned organization that is led by pharmacist, Erin Moore, and attorney, Hayley Rosenblum Dudney. Moore's interest in medical marijuana stemmed when she was attending pharmacy school and Dudney learned about the medicinal benefits of marijuana when she was in law school.
The facility is carefully planning their operation in the hopes that they will be able to harvest more than once this year. Dundney stated that she is confident that Archimedes will be the first cultivator to market in Missouri and they are anticipating their first harvest to be in early to mid-August.
