Following Governor Mike Parson’s COVID-19 briefing yesterday afternoon, a question that many Missouri medical marijuana patients have been asking has been answered: when will dispensaries open?
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak and state lockdown, it had been unclear when exactly dispensary facilities could start to be inspected and when exactly they would begin opening.
Director of Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services, Dr. Randall W. Williams, stated at the briefing that inspectors will be able to begin visiting dispensary sites starting May 4. He also said that dispensaries are anticipating to begin opening mid-summer around late July and early August.
A total of 192 medical marijuana dispensary licenses have been granted and there will be a total of 24 dispensaries in each of Missouri’s eight congressional districts.

This is Hazael Evans. My question: when dispensaries open in Missouri can I take a friend with me that does not have their MM card?
